Creativity for the Community: Exploring the Lantos Community Service Awards
Members of our community have great ideas about how to raise PH awareness and find new ways to support patients and families. Acting on those ideas can be easier with a PHA Tom Lantos Innovation in Community Service Award. The awards, funded by Gilead Sciences, let PHers apply for grants of up to $5,000 each. Learn about applying for a Lantos grant and discover the diverse projects others have done for the PH community using these funds.
Fighting Back Through Fundraising!
Thinking about taking your PH community involvement to the next level? PHA fundraisers help support cutting-edge research, drive patient programs and increase public understanding of PH, while allowing others the opportunity to support you and the entire PH community. In this session, learn about the various ways to get involved through individual fundraising pages, participation in endurance events, workplace fundraisers, special events and more! Our fundraising team will share resources, examples, tips and tricks to help you get started.
The most effective media coverage about PH includes personal stories – your stories. Hear from the experts, media professionals and PHers like you, about the advantages of raising awareness through the media and how you can embrace them.
