Who should attend?
The 2013 PH Professional Network Symposium is designed to meet the educational needs of PH-treating healthcare professionals, including nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, physician assistants, social workers, and more.
- PH-Treating Healthcare Professionals (Non-Corporate):
*PHA is offering a reduced fee of $100 for the first 250 PH-treating healthcare professionals who register. In order to receive the reduced registration fee, the attendee must be a nurse, nurse practitioner, pharmacist, physician assistant, respiratory therapist, social worker, or other non-physician clinician with an active PH Professional Network membership.
- Physicians & Corporate/Non-Clinical Health Professionals: $295
PH Professional Network: $35/annual

Advocacy Day is a unique, free opportunity for any Symposium registrant to visit their Members of Congress and speak on behalf of PH patients. The day begins Thursday, Sept. 26 at 11:00 a.m. with a comprehensive training. You will be placed in a group with other Advocacy Day participants and a PHA staff person. Lunch and transportation are provided.
The 2013 PH Professional Network Symposium is being planned in compliance with continuing education accreditation policies and procedures. Upon activity approval, this event will provide continuing education credit for the following health professionals:
- Physician Assistants
- Respiratory Therapists
- Social Workers
Participants can earn up to 10.25 hours of continuing education credit at no additional cost. Please consult the final Program Guide for complete CE information and accreditations.
In the event you can no longer attend Symposium, please contact PHA at 301-565-3004 x763 to cancel your registration. Cancellations received on or before September 19, 2013 will be granted a full refund of the registration fee. Cancellations received after September 19 and "no shows” are not eligible for refunds due to the contracted financial obligation assumed by the Pulmonary Hypertension Association with the Crystal Gateway Marriott. If you cancel your registration, you are responsible for contacting the hotel to cancel your room reservation.
