NY Funwalk Raises $70K for PH Research

PH patient and PHA Board member Joanne Sperando-Schmidt and nurse practitioner Mary Bartlett hosted the incredibly successful 4th Annual NY Funwalk for PH. With more than 330 participants, they raised awareness and nearly $70,000 to support PH research.

$70,000 can fund PHA’s portion of two PHA/American Thoracic Society Partnership Award researchers for a year, with a little left over to support additional research.
