Why are you a Support Line Volunteer?

I am inspired to continue to be a Support Line Volunteer because of my daughter Shannon. She has been fighting PH since she was five years old. Shannon is the reason why I am committed to helping others get through PH.

Did you ever have a memorable experience on the Support Line?

One of my most memorable calls happened when I spoke to a woman who had just been diagnosed with PH. The woman did not know anything about PH. She was very nice and just really wanted help. She didn’t even have a doctor yet or know about what PHA could really offer. She called multiple times that week. During those calls, I helped her find a doctor and connected her to a support group. Afterwards, she was so gracious and thankful for my help.
