PHA INTERNATIONAL WEBPAGE: NEW AND IMPROVED!

PH InternationalAs PHA's international network grows, so does the need for comprehensive, easy-to-access information. That's one of the reasons why we're excited to show off PHA's updated International section.

Be sure to take a look at everything the updated section has to offer - especially the new Babel Fish function that allows visitors to select their languages of preference and translate the entire site.

As always, this section offers International News updates, links to materials in languages other than English, and a complete (and growing!) list of PH associations around the world. These features have been made more useful and engaging.

We'd love to hear any ideas you might have or international news you'd like to see online. Contact us at international@PHAssociation.org.
NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR PULMONARY HYPERTENSION RESEARCH

Updated information about research opportunities in pulmonary hypertension has just been posted to the PHA Research Program page online!

The Gilead Sciences Research Scholars Program in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension provides financial support to three junior faculty researchers for a two-year period. Each award is funded up to $100,000, to be paid in annual installments of up to $50,000 per year for two years. Application deadline is August 8, 2009.

PHA's Research Program web section features in-depth information on PHA's three research programs. Through these programs, PHA has developed strong funding partnerships with the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute and the American Thoracic Society. Now approaching a decade of existence, funds committed for PH research exceed $7,500,000!
