The December 2019 meeting featured helpful travel suggestions from Julie Shamberger, R.N. Afterward, one member showed off a roller backpack she adapted to help her easily navigate with her oxygen. Another shared the name of a business that helps makes traveling by cruise ship easier with oxygen.
The September 2019 meeting focused on caregiver appreciation. Jane Marks, associate director of the Johns Hopkins Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program, discussed “Caring for the Caregiver.”
