Advocacy visits with your members of Congress are great ways to make a difference this summer. Whether you returned from PHA 2022 fired up and ready to do more, or have been thinking about advocacy for a while, you can still share your story to improve lives in the pulmonary hypertension (PH) community.

Each August, members of Congress leave Washington, D.C., to meet with constituents in their home states. This year, many meetings will take place virtually, but they’re still critical. August visits reinforce elected officials’ understanding of what it’s like to live with PH and how they can help.

With the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA)’s support, you can share the impact of PH on your life and ask Congress to pass legislation that matters to the entire community.

When you contact PHA about an August phone, video or in-person meeting, we can help:

  • Schedule your call.
  • Plan what you want to say.
  • Answer questions and follow up.
