If you’re attending PHA’s Pulmonary Hypertension Professional Network Symposium in person, mark your calendar for several must-attend onsite events.

To start, join us for the opening reception on Sept. 28. After opening remarks, network with friends and colleagues while discovering ways to get or stay involved with the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.

The opening reception will have stations hosted by PHPN members, volunteers and PHA staff who can answer questions about PHA programs and initiatives. Networking stations include advocacy, community fundraising, PH Care Centers, patient engagement and support groups. Stop by one or more stations to explore fundraising opportunities in your area, learn about upcoming PH Awareness Month activities and more – all over drinks and heavy hors d’oeuvres.

Immediately after the opening reception, PHA will host a Meet the Mentor reception. All attendees are welcome. Meet the current group of mentors and mentees, and learn how to get involved. This a valuable opportunity for previous mentors and mentees to connect and share their successes, challenges and lessons-learned from participating in the PHA Professional Mentorship Program. The reception will feature desserts and a cash bar.

PHA’s PHPN Symposium is the premier PH event of the year, drawing health care professionals from around the world to Arlington, Virginia, Sept. 28-30. This year’s theme is “PHoundation for a Brighter Future” and will focus on the latest advancements in PH research and care. Participants can earn up to 11 continuing education credits. Learn more and register.
