In response to the COVID-19 public health emergency, the federal health insurance marketplace and many state marketplaces opened a unique enrollment period February 15.

The new enrollment period ends May 15. People in most states who aren’t enrolled in a marketplace plan can apply for coverage until then. Those currently enrolled may be able to update their applications.

Completing the enrollment process will identify whether you are one of 16 million uninsured Americans eligible for help with health insurance costs.
