Pulmonary Hypertension Association O2breathe walks begin this weekend in Tampa. PHA’s O2breathe walks bring together members of the pulmonary hypertension community to connect, celebrate the community’s accomplishments and raise funds to support PHA’s programs and services.
If you’re in one of these areas, join us to meet other people affected by PHA in your community:
Tampa
The Tampa O2breathe Walk and 5K is set for this Sunday, Feb. 16, at Al Lopez Park. This event honors Missy Stok Rizzo, a vibrant member of the PH community who lost her PH battle in 2017. Register for the free one-mile walk or pay $35 to participate in the 5K race.
Houston
The third annual Houston O2breathe Walk is set for Saturday, March 22, at TMC Helix Park. Hosted with Houston Methodist Hospital and Texas Children’s Hospital, the organizers hope to outperform last year’s event, which raised $22,525.

The AnMed O2breathe Walk returns Saturday, April 26, at the AnMed Health North Campus. The walk, which began last year, is held in collaboration with AnMed Health’s pulmonary hypertension program. The event memorializes Tina Lisenby, AnMed’s first PHA support group leader, who passed away in February 2023.
