From Nov. 1 – Dec. 15, 2019, individuals can purchase insurance coverage or update existing coverage through their state or local health insurance marketplace.
Health insurance plans change premiums and benefits from one year to the next, so open enrollment serves as an important opportunity to review benefits and ensure that the coverage selected will continue to meet the covered individual’s needs in 2020. Those needing to update or purchase coverage can connect with their insurance marketplace at healthcare.gov.
