SLC Committees and Education Programs
PHA’s Scientific Leadership Council has committees actively supporting the development of new education and resources on pulmonary hypertension for both the medical and patient communities. Guided by the common mission of raising awareness about pulmonary hypertension, each committee focuses on the various educational needs of the PH community.
The Education Committee provides guidance in the development of patient educational material such as the Patients Survival Guide develops current information on the latest treatments and also develops consensus statements on different aspects of living with pulmonary hypertension. See the About PH section for more information.
Members of the Research Committees are leading researchers in the field of pulmonary hypertension. They guide the growth and development of PHA’s research program with over $15 million in committed funds for pulmonary hypertension research.
