Health insurance marketplace

Medicare
Make your changes by Dec. 7. Coverage begins Jan. 1, 2022.
If you are Medicare beneficiary, you don’t need to do anything to remain enrolled. However, it’s important to review your benefits and coverage for the coming year to be aware of changes to your plan, particularly for Medicare Part D. You should be able to access your plan’s formulary online, or you can call the customer service number on your prescription card to request a copy of the formulary.
Medicare Advantage
In addition to the regular Medicare open enrollment taking place through Dec. 7, Medicare Advantage offers an extra open enrollment period from Jan. 1, 2022, through March 31, 2022. During this period, people with Medicare Advantage plans can switch once to a different Medicare Advantage plan. Or you can switch back to Medicare parts A and B with or without prescription drug coverage (Part D).
