From four women gathered around a kitchen table in 1991, the Pulmonary Hypertension Association has expanded into an international community of more than 16,000 pulmonary hypertension patients, caregivers, family members and health care professionals.

Now in our 35th year, PHA invites the community to join our anniversary celebrations at PHA 2026 International PH Conference and Scientific Sessions, June 11-14, in Dallas.

Make plans to visit the PHA 2026 exhibit hall, where the iconic kitchen table that started it all will be on display. Take a selfie at the kitchen table as you learn more about milestones across PHA’s 35 years. Look for PHA founders Ed and Judy Simpson, who have been invited to appear as special guests at the table once owned by Judy’s sister and co-founder Pat Paton. Judy, Pat, Teresa Knazik and Dorothy Olson founded the United Patients Association for Pulmonary Hypertension at the table.

Across the aisle, stop by the PHA Hub, a one-stop-shop for your PHA-related inquiries. Speak with PHA staff to learn about volunteer opportunities, advocacy initiatives, membership offerings and available resources. Then take time to snuggle with a furry friend in the conference puppy park, or visit the exhibiting lipsologist, who will interpret an imprint of your lips.

Want to share what you’re PHixin’ to do at the conference? Stop by the conference soundbite studio on June 11, for a chance to be interviewed by PHA’s videography crew.

Be a part of PHA’s history at PHA 2026. Earl bird rates end Monday, April 13.
