Help develop a colleague’s PH-treating knowledge as a PHA professional mentor or expand your skills as a professional mentee. Join the Pulmonary Hypertension Association’s professional mentor program.

The program connects physicians, nurses, pharmacists, social workers and other allied health professionals with experienced mentors to support their professional growth and help them achieve their professional goals.

The program especially needs nurse practitioner, physician associate and all pediatric PH disciplines as mentors. You must be a PHA professional member to participate.

The program is fully virtual, with most communication occurring by email, phone or video call. However, mentors and mentees are encouraged to meet in person during PHA events such as the PHA International PH Conference and Scientific Sessions, the PH Professional Network Symposium and other professional meetings.

“It has been an extremely rewarding experience for me, but more importantly for our clinic,” says recent mentee Nicole Murphree, patient navigator/PH coordinator, Memphis Lung Physicians. “We have implemented many of [my mentor’s] suggestions.”
