Registration is open for the Pulmonary Hypertension Association’s free PH Community Workshop in Denver on Saturday, Aug. 23. The event will address topics related to adult and pediatric PH.

Led by PH experts from the Denver area, educational sessions at the PH Community Workshop will focus on:

  • The latest in PH research and treatment.
  • Clinical trials and how to get involved.
  • Conditions associated with pediatric PH.

“Knowledge is power. I am excited to share the exciting new direction of treatments for patients with pulmonary hypertension,” says Todd Bull, director of the pulmonary vascular disease program at the University of Colorado.

Bull is one of three co-chairs for the event. The others are David Badesch, director, pulmonary hypertension program, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, and Dunbar Ivy, director, pediatric pulmonary hypertension program, Children’s Hospital Colorado.

In addition to attending educational session, workshop attendees can meet other people with PH, parents of children with PH, caregivers, other family members and health care professionals. They also can network with representatives from community organizations and pharmaceutical companies and attend support groups.

Free childcare is available for 3- to 17-year-olds. Complimentary breakfast, lunch and parking are included in registration.

Don’t miss your opportunity to build your PH community in Denver with PHA. Register before Monday, Aug. 14, to secure your spot at the workshop. Extend your weekend with the PH community by attending PH in the Park 2025 on Sunday, Aug. 24.
