The new issue of Pathlight focuses on the Pulmonary Hypertension Association’s commitment to quality care.
The issue shows some of the ways PHA advances and supports specialized PH care, such as accredited PH Care Centers, the PHA Registry and our educational initiatives for people with PH, their families and PH-treating health care professionals.
Our cover story, “The Care PH Patients Deserve,” celebrates the growth of PHA-accredited PH Care Centers. When the program launched 11 years ago, six pilot centers went through the first application, review and approval process. Today, there are more than 100 accredited centers. As the number of accredited centers grows, PHA is examining how to streamline the accreditation process, improve communication and reach underserved areas.
This issue of Pathlight also celebrates the first anniversary of our podcast, PH Insights and the success of our new certificate for advanced practice providers.
