Give to PHA on Donor-Advised Fund Day Doyle Ramona Dr_

If you have a donor-advised fund, designate PHA to receive a gift through your account. Today is Donor-Advised Fund Day, a reminder about this option for charitable giving.

Donor-advised funds are investment accounts that provide immediate tax deductions for people who donate money, stocks, bonds, cryptocurrency or other non-cash assets to charitable organizations. You can open an account through about 1,000 sponsor organizations, which typically are branches of financial service companies that administer the accounts.

Pulmonologist Ramona Doyle and her partner Amy Kindrick selected PHA to receive a gift through their donor-advised fund. Doyle has cared for people with PH for more than 30 years and has served PHA’s Board of Trustees and Scientific Leadership Council.

“It’s a real honor and privilege to care for people with PH, and supporting PHA through donations is so meaningful for Amy and me,” Doyle says. “Giving from our donor-advised fund is easy and tax-advantageous.”
