New Webinars to Address Promising PH Treatments, Clinical Trials

Join the Pulmonary Hypertension Association and Fundación Contra la Hipertensión Pulmonar for a two-part webinar series, “Hope Through Research in Pulmonary Hypertension.”

Simulcast in English and Spanish, the PHA Live webinars focus on promising new PH research and explain the drug development process.

The first webinar, “Hope Through Research in PH: Emerging Developments,” airs at 2 p.m. EST Nov. 30. Presenters Anna Hemnes, MD; Matthew Lammi, MD; and Catherine Simpson, MD, MHS, will share insight about research advancements and their potential impact. Julia Feitner, who has PH, offers the patient experience of participating in a clinical trial and why she volunteered.

The second webinar, “Hope Through Research in PH: Clinical Trials,” takes place at 2 p.m. EST Dec. 14. Alejandro Cruz, MD, and Eric Austin, MD, MSc, take a closer look at the clinical trial process, including how adults and children can participate. Learn about ongoing clinical trials in the pipeline and how people can participate.
