PHA’s 6-Minute Challenge Raises $7K Couple Push Daughter In Stroller As Son Rides Scooter More than 100 people participated in PHA’s first virtual fundraiser, the 6-Minute Challenge. Participants committed to at least six minutes of activity each day in May, from walking to chair yoga. Participants chose activities that best suited their needs.  The event was among the Pulmonary Hypertension Association’s activities to mark World PH Day. By sharing their progress and raising funds, participants helped raise PH awareness for PH.  The 108 participants tracked 32,513 minutes of activity during the challenge. Participants raised more than $7,000 through individual and team fundraising. To celebrate the 6-Minute Challenge’s success, PHA hosted a Facebook Live on May 31. On the livestream, PHA CEO Matt Granato joined Diane Ramirez, PHA Board of Trustees member and transplant recipient, and Sarah Smith, PHA’s director of fundraising events.   “The 6-Minute Challenge truly showed the power of our community,” Smith says. “Together we made a large impact for those impacted by pulmonary hypertension.”
