The Pulmonary Hypertension Association now requires research grant applicants to submit letters of intent before submitting full proposals. The new step applies to current and future grant opportunities, including:
- PHA Health Disparities in PH Research Award: LOI deadline – 5 p.m., EDT April 30.
- PHA Innovation Research Award: LOI deadline – 5 p.m. EDT, May 7.
The new process aims to streamline PHA’s grant application system. The process identifies promising research proposals early, ensuring alignment with PHA research priorities. The new process also will speed up the review process.
Under the new process, applicants can receive feedback earlier. That means they can refine their proposals or determine whether their project is a strong fit before investing time in a full application.
Researchers can access LOI forms and submission instructions through the PHA application portal. Submit complete letters of intent via email. Applicants should email questions to the PHA research team.
