In-person pulmonary hypertension education begins this spring at the PHA Connects: PH Community Workshop in Charlotte, North Carolina. Join the Pulmonary Hypertension Association on Saturday, March 22, to hear from medical experts and meet the regional PH community.
This daylong event of information, networking, support and empowerment takes place at the Renaissance Charlotte SouthPark Hotel.Workshop co-chairs include Surdarshan Rajagopal, co-director of the pulmonary vascular disease program at Duke University School of Medicine, and Jimmy Ford, director of the pulmonary hypertension program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The workshop is open to:
- People with pulmonary hypertension.
- Caregivers.
- Health care professionals.
- Family members.
In addition to educational sessions on the latest in PH research and treatment options, attendees can attend specialized in-person support groups and connect with exhibiting pharmaceutical companies and community partners.
