Doctors Michael Fremed and Amiee Layton

Learn how exercise safely and improve your confidence and mental well-being in a new PHA webinar. Amiee Layton, director of Columbia University Medical Center’s Pediatric Cardiology Cardiopulmonary Exercise Laboratory, will share findings from her PHA-funded study, “Tele-Rehabilitation To Improve Fear and Anxiety in Adolescents With PAH.”

Moderated by pediatric cardiologist Michael Fremed of New York-Presbyterian Children’s Hospital-Columbia, the discussion will explore the tele-health benefits for people with PH at any age.

PHA funded the study through its 2023 Pediatric Research Award. PHA is the largest non-profit funder of pulmonary hypertension research, thanks to the generosity of our donors.

The webinar, set for Thursday, Feb. 19, at 2 p.m. EST, will be available in English and Spanish.
