The Pulmonary Hypertension Association has a new Eating Well With PH initiative to bring healthy and flavorful recipes to the PH community. Submit your favorite PH-friendly recipe to help others adhere to a healthful diet while enjoying their favorite meals.
Anyone can submit a recipe, whether it’s a favorite side from your family’s backyard barbecue or a traditional holiday staple.
Recipes should follow American Heart Association recommendations for 2,400 mg of sodium for healthy adults and 2,000 mg for those with heart issues.
Registered dieticians Amanda Trevino and McKenzie Geery of Baylor, Scott & White Health will review recipe submissions to ensure they meet the guidelines below.
All submissions must be:
- Original recipe creations.
- Use commonly found ingredients.
- Use standardized measurements.
- Provide clear instructions.
