The virtual advocacy visits mark World PH Day by raising awareness and educating lawmakers about pulmonary hypertension.
“Patient advocates can change many lives instantly. And legislative advocates time and time again get things done and push our legislators to move on issues stuck in the system,” says Miranda Riddle of Los Angeles, who has signed up to participate in the event.
The Pulmonary Hypertension Association provides training and talking points so you can feel confident advocating to protect health insurance coverage and make sure life-saving treatments are accessible to all.
Virtual advocacy visits will take place via Zoom, from the comfort of your home. All are welcome, and no prior advocacy experience is needed. Register today so PHA staff have enough time to schedule your visits.
