World PH Day

We celebrated World PH Day on May 5 by raising pulmonary hypertension awareness; advocating for access to PH diagnosis, treatment and care; and celebrating the lives of people with PH.

Fundraiser in memory of Michigan teen

PHA’s Spring Campaign featured the story of Madison Wegener. Wegener’s classmates raised $100,000 in her memory and donated half of the proceeds to PHA.

PH Awareness Month

We shared a link to our PH Awareness Month page for downloadable graphics, informative materials and resources for the PH community to get involved throughout November and raise PH awareness.

Sjögren’s Awareness MonthIn April, we promoted our PH& Sjögren’s Disease brochure, which explains the connection between Sjögren’s Disease and PH. Download the free brochure in English or Spanish.

PHA 2024

PHA 2024 International PH Conference and Scientific Sessions drew more than 1,300 people to Indianapolis in August. Breakout sessions focused on treatment options, CTEPH, oxygen access and pediatric care.

Houston O2breathe Walk

We had a great turnout at the 2024 Houston O2breathe Walk. All funds raised benefit PHA’s programs and services to support the PH community.

Donate Life Month

We celebrated Donate Life Month in April, bringing attention to the more than 1,000 people awaiting a lung transplant in the U.S.

Gary Bruce’s Right Heart Blog

Gary Bruce co-leads the Dallas Support Group. He says he loves to put smiles on other patients’ faces and share his knowledge on managing PH.
