The Pacing Parson is on the second week of his World PH Day-kick off a 500 mile walk to raise awareness for PH and funds to support PHA’s programs. At age 81, Don Stevenson, coined the Pacing Parson in his Washington State community for his numerous charity walks, is logging 20 – 30 miles a day for PHA this month. He hopes to complete 120 miles each week and 500 miles by May 31.
Stevenson is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a former pastor. In 2015, he completed a 3,000-mile cross country charity walk for PHA, raising nearly $10,000 in donations and pledges.
