EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR PATIENTS
The Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) offers education programs for patients and caregivers through online learning, regional forums and conferences. See descriptions below:
PHA Classroom is a robust online learning center with videos and other resources that educate viewers on medical and lifestyle topics related to pulmonary hypertension (PH). Created for people with PH and their caregivers, the content is useful for anyone interested in learning more about PH.
Through PHA’s free day-long regional forums, people living with PH and their families can connect with each other and PH experts in their region. PHA on the Road programming includes advocacy strategies, managing PH, and current research and developments toward a cure.
The Pulmonary Hypertension Association’s biennial Conference brings together more than 1,400 people with pulmonary hypertension, caregivers and health care professionals every other year. The event is an opportunity to learn about the latest research, treatments and living well with PH; participate in research; and connect with others in the PH community.
Join PHA for live virtual presentations and discussions with expert health care professionals and individuals living with PH. Get immediate answers to your questions about PH diagnosis, treatment, research, associated conditions and finding your new best normal.
