About the Speakers
Tonya Zeiger, RRT, CPFT
Tonya Zeiger, RRT, CPFT, is a PH clinic coordinator and associate in pulmonary medicine at the Mayo Clinic’s Jacksonville, Fla. campus, a PHA-accredited Center of Comprehensive Care (CCC). She has worked with pulmonary hypertension patients since 2006. In addition to being a member of national and local boards for respiratory care, she is an active member of PHA’s PH Professional Network (PHPN), sitting on PHPN’s Practice and Symposium Committees. She is also a member of the Scientific Leadership Council’s Insurance Advocacy Committee.

Jaeger Spratt, MSW (pronouns: they/them)
Jaeger Spratt oversees PHA’s grassroots advocacy network. The network empowers people affected by PH to effect change by educating and influencing elected officials. They also help community members with managing copay assistance, choosing insurance and other treatment-access issues. Jaeger holds a Master of Social Work degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and has federal policy and legislative advocacy experience with the National Center for Transgender Equality.

Angela recounts how she learned she had CTEPH and her experience since diagnosis. William Auger, M.D., explains CTEPH causes, symptoms, risks, diagnosis and treatment.
