The Denver PH Community will gather at City Park in Denver on Sunday morning, Aug. 25, for the 11th year of Colorado’s PH in the Park.
“PH in the Park is always my favorite day of the year,” says David Badesch, M.D., past chair of PHA’s Scientific Leadership Council. “It brings people together,” notes Dr. Badesch. “Patients, families, providers, volunteers and community members spend a morning together sharing a common bond, increasing awareness and enjoying the outdoors.”
A timed 5K and one-mile walk along with family-oriented events enrichen the family-friendly atmosphere at PH in the Park. Kolo the Clown and friends will be among the crowd as the King Stand Band and Harmonics entertain. Attendees who choose not to run or walk can enjoy the educational booths, kids’ area and silent auction, all of which will be open throughout the event for participants to enjoy.
