The Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) recently exhibited at the American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST) Annual Meeting 2018 in San Antonio. Hundreds of health care professionals from around the globe came to learn more about current topics in pulmonary, sleep and critical care medicine. Attendees who visited the exhibit had access to PHA’s patient and professional education materials, including the new Roadmap to Hope: A guide for people recently diagnosed with PH, Understanding Pulmonary Hypertension and the PH Clinical Quick Reference Guide. PHA staff engaged with attendees about pulmonary hypertension (PH), current findings and how PHA supports the PH community.

PHA participates in multiple medical conferences such as the CHEST annual meeting every year in order to provide health care professionals with the latest information about PH and introduce them to the resources that PHA provides. Every new professional who connects with PHA during these meetings receives a subscription to Advances in Pulmonary Hypertension, PHA’s quarterly medical journal, and information about various online, print and in-person resources offered by PHA.
