The Pulmonary Hypertension Association Europe recently shared its updated call to action, “Unmet Needs of Patients with Pulmonary Hypertension – 2022” with the European Parliament as a promotion for World PH Day.
The call to action, which launched in 2012, states the importance of sharing PH knowledge and expectations among diverse stakeholders and geographic boundaries.
PHA Europe revisited the call to action this year to update original objectives and assess their relevancy. The April 26 meeting at Parliament was the flagship event of the MEP Lung Health interest group and a collaboration with other lung disease patient associations and the European Respiratory Society.
PHA CEO and President Matt Granato participated in the event.
