The Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) launched a survey of the pediatric PH community today to learn more about the needs of children with PH, their parents and providers. This brief survey closes on Friday, April 20, and should be taken by any member of the pediatric PH community.

In 2016, PHA conducted a community-wide survey to help identify the key focus areas and strategic initiatives necessary to best serve the community.  A major priority identified was to enhance our support of the pediatric PH community. In January, PHA established a Pediatric Task Force of parents and providers who have a created a second survey specifically focused on the pediatric PH community. PHA provides more than twenty-five distinct educational, informational and support programs and resources for children, families and providers, but it is important to get feedback from the people who rely on them most so that PHA can continue to improve its services.

If you are a parent of a child with PH, a child or teenager with PH, an adult with PH who was diagnosed as a child, or a pediatrician or allied health professional who works with children with PH – please, take a few minutes to complete this survey now. Your opinions will help PHA better understand the needs of children with PH, their families and providers. Thank you for helping us continue to empower the pediatric PH community. If you have any questions, please contact kidswithph@phassociation.org.
