“[My hope is] knowing that one day there will be a cure.”
By Cindy Galloway
“Knowing that one day there will be a cure. Also looking at my grandson and my son knowing that they are near me. My son Kenny was diagnosed in 1980 and is 39; my grandson Zander, who is 8, was diagnosed in 2011. My mother was diagnosed at 39 years old in 1975 and passed away a month later. My brother had two children, one at three months and one at six months, to pass away with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). My brother also has two grown children that have it. My brother was diagnosed with PAH and passed away 14 years ago.”
