“My hope story is attributable to my faith in God, a supportive family and belief within myself. I do not limit myself to anything the world throws at me.
I am still able to work as a professional teacher, travel the world and although limited to physical activity, I still pursue what my body can handle. I persevere because the world around me perseveres! I will continue to fulfill every dream that I set my mind to because I believe I control my pulmonary hypertension (PH) and it will not have a hold on me.
My message of hope to all PHighters is to wake up every morning knowing you are going to conquer the world. I have had many hospital visits, periods without medication, but God has never failed me and he definitely will not start now! Remain hopeful, optimistic and strong. Prayers and love always.”
