“On July 15, 2019, I was devastated. I was told I had chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH)…at the age of 32.
After an initial mourning period, I took a step back and looked at my life. It was GREAT. I have an amazing husband who is there every step of the journey, who I truly could not live without, two crazy kitties that rule the roost, one goofy puppy who entertains us hourly and a loving extended family. Why should PH take that away? I decided it shouldn’t and it wouldn’t. I could sit and wallow and all of those things that make me happy and fulfilled would continue on, or I could go back to living my life and being happy. My LIFE gives me hope!”
