It’s amazing what a little hope can accomplish!”

“Did you know that November was Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness Month? Did you know I was diagnosed with this!? I am a PHace of hope!

“In 2018, when we found out about my diagnosis, it was looking pretty bleak. ‘Stop working. Stop working out. Stop trying to have a baby. Stop living your normal life.’ That was what I heard. And in typical Kristin fashion, I said NOPE! I’m still working, I’m still working out (although I’ve been lazy lately) aaaaaannnnnd….I’m proud to say that I’m doing so well. I’ve been cleared to undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF) to extract my eggs, hopefully make some embryos, and use a surrogate gestational carrier. I’m even more proud to say that the egg retrieval process started Nov. 18! Wish us luck!

“Life has gone on for me! I don’t suffer from pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH); I THRIVE with PAH! I am Kristin, and I am a PHace of hope! It’s amazing what a little hope can accomplish!
