PHA Centers of Comprehensive Care

History

The PH Program at the UCMC was established in 2007 under the direction of Jean Elwing, MD. The program development has been guided and fully supported by Francis McCormack, MD, Pulmonary Division Director. Outpatient referrals are seen and assessed at UCMC in the Medical Arts Building. This facility offers outpatient diagnostic testing and full laboratory services. Invasive procedures and inpatient care occurs at UCMC, a tertiary care hospital with the necessary facilities and staff to provide acute care for complex cardiopulmonary patients.
