Philadelphia’s Hope for a Cure Gala 2017

The nominations are now closed

On Saturday, Nov. 4, the Greater Philadelphia region will recognize the unique contributions of one physician and one non-physician clinician to the pulmonary hypertension community. Nominations are being solicited from patients, caregivers, and families. A non-biased selection committee of patients and caregivers will evaluate and recommend winners*.

Awards will be presented at Philadelphia’s Hope for a Cure Gala during the Formal Program. The Gala will be held at Springfield Country Club in Springfield, PA. It will benefit the non-profit Pulmonary Hypertension Association. The nomination period for each award closes August 18. For more information, please call Colleen Connor at 610-329-4993.

Outstanding Physician
This award recognizes an outstanding physician who has been notable in service both to his or her own PH patients, and to the larger Philadelphia area community of patients and care givers. We honor this physician for his or her dedication to promoting excellent clinical care, research, education, and advocacy on behalf of PH patients.

Outstanding Non-Physician Clinician
This award recognizes a non-physician clinician (a nurse, physician assistant, technician, therapist, etc.) for contributions to the PH community through any combination of the following: raising awareness, participating in advocacy efforts, fundraising, and providing kind and compassionate care to PH patients and care givers.
