PHA on the Road features educational sessions given by local experts that help people live their best lives with pulmonary hypertension (PH). At this FREE event coming to Kansas City, Kan., on Oct.12, attendees can also connect directly with these experts and get their questions answered.

One of the experts who will be part of PHA on the Road is Leslie A. Spikes, M.D., from The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City, Kan. Dr. Spikes offers her take on why someone should consider attending this event.

“Pulmonary hypertension is such a difficult and challenging disease for patients. The symptoms can be debilitating and the treatments complex. PHA on the Road is a fantastic opportunity for patients, family and caregivers to learn more about their disease process from experts in the field as well as meet others with the same condition. Education is empowerment! I encourage everyone to join us in Kansas City [Kan.] on Oct. 12.”

There’s still time to register for this free event! Online registration closes on Oct. 8. Go to PHAssociation.org/OnTheRoad or call 301-565-3004 ext. 744. Attendees will also enjoy complimentary breakfast and lunch, child care for kids 3-17 (no diapers), and self-parking.
