The Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) will host the annual PHA St. Louis Area Trivia Night Friday, March 27, in Maryland Heights, Missouri. The trivia night will bring together people with pulmonary hypertension (PH), friends, family and health care providers for fun, friendly competition. Teams will work together to answer eight rounds of trivia questions. Proceeds help PHA raise awareness of PH and supports research to find a cure.

The event is a yearly highlight for members and supporters, says Amanda Harvey-McKee, one of the support group’s three leaders. It grows each year, and everyone has a great time while promoting the cause.

“I love getting together with our PHriends, families and medical professionals, who are all coming together for our cause,” says Denise Beach, another leader of the group. “It’s a fun event, and we work hard to raise money for PH.”

In addition to prizes for winning trivia teams, the event features door prizes and raffle items. Those items include a one-night stay at Drury Plaza Hotel, tickets to a St. Louis Ambush professional indoor soccer game and a wine party for 20.

“It’s a fun evening with great people working for a cure,” says Brenda McCowan, the third leader.
