October is Children’s Health Awareness Month. This month, the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) raises awareness of pediatric pulmonary hypertension.
Pediatric pulmonary hypertension (PH) affects children under 18. Pediatric PH patients learn to navigate their disease while dealing with the ups and downs of maturing into growing up. Parents and children with PH often need to learn special considerations for attending school, transitioning to adult PH care and more.
