On August 10, the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) is bringing PHA on the Road to San Francisco! Registration is now open for the San Francisco area PHA on the Road: PH Patients and Families Education Forum, a free educational program that offers the pulmonary hypertension (PH) community a unique opportunity to join other individuals with PH and their caregivers for a day of education, networking and support.

This one-day free program at The Westin San Francisco Airport Hotel features experts on important PH topics, as well as structured time to connect with fellow patients and caregivers. The day will cover all aspects of living with PH, ranging from the medical management of PH to day-to-day lifestyle issues. Get helpful information about exercise and pulmonary rehabilitation in PH, managing side effects of PH medications, oxygen access and management, and much more. Highlights of this free educational day include:

  • Interactive presentations, question-and-answer sessions, and networking opportunities.
  • PH expert physician and health care professional speakers on disease management and research.
  • Kids’ Room with complimentary day-of child care services (kids 3-16; no diapers please).
  • Free self-parking.

Everyone is welcome to attend, so please spread the word to your friends and family! Register online through Aug. 7 at PHAssociation.org/OnTheRoad or by calling 301-565-3004 ext. 803.
