Seven-Year Old Jackson Shares Story and Hosts Event to Help PH Patients

Jackson Wall, a seven-year old living with PH, was very busy at the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) 2018 International PH Conference and Scientific Sessions in Orlando, Fla., this summer, as he had many scheduled activities and speaking engagements. He squeezed in time between the Conference kids’ field trip and the fashion show to be filmed for PHA Classroom, PHA’s online platform for people living with pulmonary hypertension (PH), their families and caregivers, to learn more about PH on their own schedules. In his video, Jackson is interviewed by his mom, Jayna, and shares about living his best life for other kids with PH and their parents to see. He talks about his interests, activities and medical experiences. He even gives a little advice for other kids living with PH.

Not only does Jackson share his words of wisdom, he also shares his time by hosting an annual golf tournament. Jackson’s parents, Jayna and Matt Wall, organize Driving Fore a Cure for PH each year. This year marks the event’s sixth year and will be held Friday, November 2, at Riverwood Golf Course in Clayton, N.C. To register or sponsor the golf tournament, visit www.drivingforeacureforPH.com. If you cannot attend the event, you can still make a donation in honor of Jackson and other people living with PH on PHA’s secure website.
