Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness Month wrapped up Nov. 30 by looking ahead to the 30th anniversary of the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA). Our last Awareness Month activity invited the PH community to share its vision and hopes for the years ahead.
As we plan for our 30th anniversary celebrations, we want to know what you envision for the future. Head to our Awareness Month Calendar to share your thoughts with us.
You can view any calendar posts you might have missed and download facts and resources to raise awareness and help others “Discover PH.”
Last week, we featured low-sodium holiday recipes and a Thanksgiving coloring activity. Last week’s calendar activities also focused on sleep apnea and congenital heart disease and their connection to PH. Last Saturday, we posted about information about participating in clinical trials. Sunday, we encouraged everyone to remember PHA on Giving Tuesday.
As part of Awareness Month, we offered Facebook Live events on “Connective Tissue Diseases and PH” “About CTEPH,” “About PH,” and “PH and Meth.” Three were offered in Spanish and English. If you missed any events, you can watch the recordings on our website.
Our Day of Action on Nov. 10 inspired the community to email their members of Congress. Thank you for helping to educate your senators and representatives about life with PH.
We hope you enjoyed our Awareness Month activities. You can still help others “Discover PH” by sharing graphics and digital tools with friends, family and others in your network.
Stay tuned for a year of excitement as we celebrate our 30th anniversary throughout 2021.
