Smith Medical, the manufacturer of CADD Cassettes, has initiated a recall on some products that may have been shipped to PH patients between June of this year and the present. Smith Medical has reported one patient incident associated with this recall. PHA is not currently aware of any others. The risk associated with this defect is under-delivery of medication once the cassette is attached to the pump. If you would like more information, please contact your specialty pharmacy.
