Pulmonary hypertension (PH) Awareness Month continues this week with more digital tools and fun activities.
Today, help spread awareness – but not germs – by making a colorful statement. Find out how by visiting the Pulmonary Hypertension Association’s Awareness Month Calendar.
Our Awareness Month Calendar helps others Discover PH through facts and fun. Over the weekend, it featured downloadable coloring pages and a video message from “Zebra Lady” Barbara Thompson with tips to safely wear a mask over a cannula.
Monday’s download was a PHA pocket card that you can print and share with family and friends.
On Tuesday, we encourage everyone affected by PH to share their stories with Congress for our Day of Action. So far, the PH Community has sent 141 messages to Congress.
There’s still time to keep PH in the conversation by letting your members of Congress know how PH has affected you and your loved ones. Head to our website to share your story.
On Wednesday, the calendar featured a downloadable graphic to mark CTEPH Awareness Day. You can share the graphic to educate others about the risks and warning signs of CTEPH.
PHA also observed CTEPH Awareness Day with Facebook Live Q&A events in English and Spanish. If you missed the events, you can watch them on our website.
All of the items from the Awareness Month Calendar are still available to download. Check the calendar each day to find out what’s new, and follow PHA on social media for news and resources.
Be sure to visit our Awareness Month Toolkit, if you haven’t already, for social media profile and cover photos, fact sheets and a customizable press release so you can share your story with your community. It also includes sample social media posts.
PHA is grateful for Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc.’s support of PH Awareness Month.
