PHA’s Support Group Leader Advisory Board recently convened in-person for the first time in-person since 2019.
The Support Group Leader Advisory Board met Nov. 5 in Washington, D.C. At the meeting, the board discussed support group programming for PHA 2024 International PH Conference and Scientific Sessions, as well training volunteers for success, volunteer appreciation and more.
The group includes leaders of eight patient and one caregiver support groups. The board plans and implements programming for the support group leader network. Members also operate regional networking groups, which act as a special support program for PHA support group leaders.
