PHA’s International PH Conference and Scientific Sessions brings together more than 1,500 caregivers, medical professionals and other friends of PHA every two years to share information on the latest research, treatments and lifestyle issues with PH. The 2016 Conference highlights included more than 25 medically led sessions, including Surgery and Anesthesia in PH Patients.

The 2018 Conference will take place June 29-July 1 in Orlando, Fla.
“We are so very grateful that we have so many more treatments and people (with PH) are living longer and doing better because of our new treatments and advances in therapy. So we’re having to start to do things we never had to do before. So my patients who have pulmonary hypertension, for example, have come in with a broken hip or appendicitis or breast cancer, or a whole variety of more common things in the background of pulmonary hypertension.”
