Allied health professionals, nurses, physicians and researchers: Join us at 5 p.m. EDT Oct. 1 for Trivia Night at the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) 2021 PH Professional Network (PHPN) Symposium.
In this fun event, teams of six will compete virtually to test their general and pulmonary hypertension (PH) knowledge and win prizes. All proceeds will benefit PHA’s Conference Scholarship Fund, which will help people with PH and caregivers attend PHA 2022 International PH Conference and Scientific Sessions.
PHA 2022 takes place June 10-12, 2022, in Atlanta. The event is expected to bring together more than 1,400 people with PH, caregivers and medical professionals. The Trivia Night goal is to allow more patients to experience the positivity and connectiveness of PHA Conference.
“The PHA Conference allowed me to not feel like an outsider for the first time since my PH diagnosis in 2011,” a 2018 Conference scholarship recipient told PHA. “I felt like I belonged and that everyone understood what I was feeling and saying. Finally, I wasn’t the only person with a rare disease in the room! That feeling of not standing out was priceless.”
Trivia Night is part of PHA’s 2021 PHPN Symposium, which will take place online Sept. 30 through Oct. 3. Hundreds of allied health care professionals will learn the latest advancements in PH research and care while earning up to 24.5 hours of continuing medical education credits/continuing education units and network with colleagues.
Trivia Night tickets can be added during Symposium registration. Individual tickets are $25, and group tickets for teams of six are $150. Already registered for Symposium? Contact PHA or call 240-485-3810 to register for Trivia Night.
